Mahashibir was organized at Jai Hind College of Science Salgaon for E kyc of students under Ayyyaman Bharat PMJAY scheme. Ayushman Bharat Card (Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana) under AB-PMJAY/MPJAY this card helps family to avail free medical facilities up to Rs 5 lakh annually in any authorized hospital in India. Under Ayimman Bharat (PMJAY) scheme, around 80 qualified beneficiaries and 8 teachers and staff were conducted EKYC in the college, and also guided other members of the family to do EKYC.
Shri Anandraj Shankar Birje (CHO) Shrim Sonia Kadam (CHO) Shri VR (MPW) Smt ST Zarapkar Smt DD Shikhalkar Shrim VS Padate (health worker) officers and staff of health department were present for this camp. He explained all the students in detail about the benefits of Ayyimman Bharat Yojana. Also on this occasion, Principal of Jaihind College of Science Salgaon Amey Mahajan Sir, Prof. Rishikesh Suryaji, Prof. Terry Desa, Prof. Harshad Dhuri attended this program.
